(minimum ten million sum insured).
A copy of the current Workers Compensation Insurance Certificate of Currency
(if a company), or equivalent details if a sole trader.

Details (or a copy) of trade licences (and original to be sighted by principal/delegate).
Current Working with Children Check.
Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) are completed for the relevant high-risk tasks being
undertaken at the time of induction, including but not limited to the below list. SWMS must be completed
each time these high-risk tasks are undertaken, not just at induction.

Hot Work
Confined Spaces
Any other tasks that the contractor deems as high-risk construction work

Step 2 — Health & Safety Representative
Ben Allen is the school's HSR representative across all four campuses. Any OHS issues or concerns can be directed to him.
I have shown or made the staff member aware of the assembly points in the event of an evacuation.
I have provided Safe Work Procedures or other documents and instructions required for the staff member to safely perform their role. They are aware of who to contact if they have any questions.
I have introduced or provided contact information of the Health and Safety Representative (if one has been elected).
I have provided and discussed where required relevant Behaviour Support Plans/Risk Management Plans for students with behaviours of concern that are required for the staff member to safely perform their role.
They are aware of who to contact if they have any questions or if there are any issues.

Staff member has been auto-enrolled into the OHS eLearning modules on LearnED (eduPay) for completion within 3 months.
We have discussed additional OHS training that may be needed and is relevant to their role and the activities they are undertaking (i.e. working at heights, conflict resolution, protective intervention training, etc.).
I have introduced or given contact information for the Return-to-Work Coordinator.
I have introduced or given contact information for the Asbestos Coordinator.
I have provided information on how to access the Traffic Management Plan.
I have shown the staff member where the Chemical Register and associated Safety Data Sheets are stored.
Any other relevant, site-specific information has been provided to the new starter (for example, presence of dams, wildlife, other school-specific risk controls).
